Research power plant Soultz-sous-Forêts — The geothermal research plant Soultz-sous-Forets marks a milestone in the development of deep geothermal technology.

Cooperation with industry is essential if research activities are to be targeted at the needs of industry and our society and if technology transfer is to be achieved. We are therefore in intensive exchange with all important players in the geothermal industry in Central Europe. Joint projects generate synergies and contribute to science-based technology development for an environmentally sound use of geothermal energy that is accepted by society.
