Geothermal energy working group

German Geophysical Society (DGG)

The Working Group Geothermal Energy of the DGG deals with geophysical challenges for the use of geothermal energy. With this circle we want to promote the networking of the working groups within Germany and thus act as a nucleus for joint activities.

The working group addresses all persons interested in the geophysical challenges of geothermal energy exploitation (reservoir development, exploration, deep water, geomechanics and induced seismicity as well as numerics). For this purpose, the working group maintains a distribution list. To this list circulars from the spokespersons of the working group, job advertisements and other news of interest to all are sent. If you want to be added to the mailing list or send a message to the list, please contact Bastian Rudolph at KIT.
